Job scope: The Cypress/Pegues Coordinator performs duties specific to ensuring Community Healthcore's two affordable housing properties meet the rules and regulations for the HUD Multi-family Housing program. Ensures the tenants of each property have access to supportive services. Addresses and resolves tenant concerns; collects rent in a timely manner; and conducts initial/move-in/interim certifications, as applicable. Ensures properties operate according to HUD and Community Healthcare guidelines. Serves as the Site Safety Officer for both Cypress Manor & Pegues Place. Communicates effectively with Maintenance supervisor to address related property issues. Communicates and engages effectively with Program supervisors and case workers for purposes of coordination of care for individuals.
Education/licensure:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in social sciences field strongly preferred.Current valid driver's license in state of residence with acceptable driving record.
Experience/Knowledge: Prior experience with housing/rental programs
preferred. Experience working with
individuals with behavioral health, substance use, and/or other disabilities
preferred.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:
Moderate lifting and carrying up to a maximum of 20 pounds. Sitting for prolonged periods, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching above shoulder height. Motor skills necessary to operate essential office equipment. Physical ability to perform SAMA and CPR. Ability to read and visual acuity to decipher printed information at 8 lines per inch
