Oversees the daily operations of a crisis intervention service, directly supervising staff who provide immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, coordinating responses to crisis situations, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining a safe and effective working environment. Key responsibilities include staff training, case management oversight, and collaborating with community partners to provide comprehensive crisis support. On-call rotation will be required.
Requires Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field that meets/exceeds the criteria for a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Current valid driver's license in state of residenceRequires a basic understanding of mental
illness, assessment processes and how to access professional/community
resources. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position requires various activities involving visual, auditory, motor skills to communicate; attend meetings/trainings, carrying charts and assisting patients (up to 50 lbs). Must have stamina for long days and able to work under hazardous conditions due to potentially aggressive individuals. Must be physically able to complete Satori Alternative to Managing Aggressive Behavior (SAMA), CPR, and First Aid. Work endurance sufficient to work an 8-12 hours day.
