Job Scope:
Oversees the daily operations of a crisis intervention service, directly supervising staff who provide immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, coordinating responses to crisis situations, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining a safe and effective working environment. Key responsibilities include staff training, case management oversight, and collaborating with community partners to provide comprehensive crisis support. On-call rotation will be required.
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
· Completing crisis assessment/reassessment to include ANSA and other standardized assessments to determine need for rehabilitation services as needed.
· Assists with data collection, review, and interpretation.
· Insuring client/family/LAR satisfaction with services.
· Coordinating the completion of responsible staff activities.
· Completing required documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
· Completing weekly staff schedules and monitoring/review of clinical staff performance.
· Timekeeping/assisting with performance evaluations.
Education/Licensure:
Master's degree in a Human Service field. License in Professional Healing Arts or Clinical Social Work.
Current valid driver's license in state of residence.Experience/Knowledge:
Requires a basic understanding of mental
illness, assessment processes and how to access professional/community
resources. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Position requires various activities involving visual, auditory, motor skills to communicate; attend meetings/trainings, carrying charts and assisting patients (up to 50 lbs). Must have stamina for long days and able to work under hazardous conditions due to potentially aggressive consumers. Must be physically able to complete Satori Alternative to Managing Aggressive Behavior (SAMA), CPR, and First Aid. Work endurance sufficient to work an 8-12 hours day.
