Pay: Entry Bachelor's degree $20.00/hr; Master's degree $21.06/hr (Qualified Mental Health Professional)

Role Overview

Are you a dedicated professional looking to make a lasting impact on youth mental health in East Texas? Community Healthcore is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) to join our team dedicated to adults age 18 and above.

In this role, you will be the bridge between families and essential services, leading behavioral interventions and facilitating recovery-focused care to help adults reach their full potential.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Service Coordination: Assist individuals in identifying needs and negotiate the array of supports required to reach their desired outcomes.
  • Therapeutic Support: Provide direct behavioral intervention services, skills training, and support to a dedicated caseload.
  • Care Planning: Facilitate and implement individual plans of care, ensuring all services are documented and aligned with individual goals.
  • Advocacy: Connect individuals with community supports and ensure planned services are effectively implemented.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain timely, neat, accurate, and objective records of all meetings and progress notes in electronic health records.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Special Ed, etc.).
  • Alternative Qualification: Registered Nurses (RN) also qualify for this position.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to work efficiently with computers and electronic health records.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Dynamic Settings: Positions are available in both inpatient and outpatient clinics.
  • Travel: Requires local travel to provide services within the Texarkana, Atlanta, and Clarksville service areas.
