Director of Strategic Initiatives

Job scope:

Director Strategic Initiatives will lead in a boundary spanning position to assess Center as a whole and develop partnerships, affiliations, and alliances to advance the vision and mission of the Center. Reporting directly to the Director, Program Operations, and Develops Centers of Excellence within the organization as it moves to become a high performing provider of integrated health services and executing strategies to ensure Community Healthcore's Program Operations activities are best-in-class and industry leading. Provide a tactical consulting approach to establish direction, alignment, and commitment across boundaries (vertical, horizontal, stakeholder, demographic and geographic), within and across individuals, groups/teams, larger organizations and systems. Builds strategies, facilitates planning and drives change activities to position the Center for growth in the evolving health care systems. Continuously examines Center as a whole and identifies business questions regarding current programs and evolution of health care systems. Functions as a team member with Program Operations leadership.

Education/licensure: Minimum of a master's degree of human services from an accredited university and licensed as an LPHA. Current valid driver's license in state of residence and insurable under Center's liability insurance.


Management of diverse staff populations and the ability to provide management oversight to programs in the absence of the Director, Program Operations. Extensive experience and knowledge of clinical operations and planning.

Ability to safely and personally perform functions of the position. Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate and monitor staff, organization needs, and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills sufficient to legibly document and communicate. Mobility, ability and stamina to sit, bend, and reach during an 8 - 10 hour workday.
