Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist | Longview Area

Job scope: The Speech Language Pathologist serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team responsible for the identification, assessment, planning, and delivery of services to children with communicative or feeding and swallowing disorders and delays in development of communication skills. Duties include the referral to medical or other professional services necessary for the habilitation and rehabilitation of children with disorders or delays in communication. The position reports to ECI Program Director. 

Education / Licensure:

  • A master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited or approved institution
  • Licensed as a speech-language pathologist according to regulations set for by the Texas State Licensure Board.
  • Current valid driver's license in state of residence.

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:

Must be able to transport clients, be able to complete activities necessary to perform services. This includes but is not limited to bending, lifting up to 44 pounds, carrying, crawling, and kneeling. Must be able to tolerate excessive heat and cold.
