Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant - Full time or Part Time | Longview Area

Job scope: 

The Licensed Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology serves as a member of the ECI Interdisciplinary team under the direct supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist, responsible for delivery of services to children with communicative disorders and delays in development of communicative skills. The Assistant SLP assists the licensed SLP in managing an existing caseload by implementing documented treatment plans that are established for the purpose of treating communication delays and disorders, and other problems that are within the scope of practice of Speech-Language Pathology, as determined by the SLP. Will be under direct supervision of the Speech Pathologist. Reports to the Speech Pathologist and is under the general supervision of the ECI Program Director.


A Bachelor's degree with minimum 24 hours in speech/language pathology from an accredited or approved institution. Must be eligible for the Licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathologist. 


Prefer a minimum of one year experience with children with developmental delays. 

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:

Must be able to transport clients, be able to complete activities necessary to perform services.  This includes but is not limited to bending, lifting up to 44 pounds, carrying, crawling, and kneeling.  Must be able to tolerate excessive heat and cold.
