Job scope:

Staff will train and assist consumers in vocational/site base habilitation skills for life skills and community employment. Adheres to individualized plan of care, goals and objectives. Will participate in group outing, monitor under specific guidelines with limited supervision.  Documentation of client progress is reported accurately in progress notes. 

Education/licensure:

High school diploma or GED.  Current valid driver's license in state of residence.

Experience/Knowledge:

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to work cooperatively with consumers and family to establish a positive relationship.

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to transport consumers between locations and other training activities.

MINIMUM HIRING SALARY PER HOUR: $16.00
