Responsible for scheduling,
rescheduling visits for multiple service programs, by collecting all necessary
information for schedule and registration preparation. Utilize critical thinking skills and
analytical skills and have the ability to work under minimal supervision. This position requires strong communication,
customer service, interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette. Must be able to react effectively and calmly
in emergencies. Cooperatively interact
with the health care team to support and contribute to the shared group
goals. The completion of
responsibilities are handled via a call center in an off-site location.
Education/licensure:
High
school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of medical terminology class preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Computer data entry experience / emphasizing
speed and accuracy.
- Experience in a medical
office setting preferred.
- Requires advanced
organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Requires advanced
interview and communication skills.
- Functions as a team member
and actively participates in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrates aptitude for
logical and deliberate problem solving and decision making.

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational
qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Moderate lifting and carrying up to a maximum of 20
pounds. Sitting for prolonged periods, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and
reaching above shoulder height. Motor skills necessary to operate essential office
equipment. Ability to read and visual acuity to decipher
printed information at 8 lines per inch.
