Job scope:
Delivery of contract requirement services to children and their families in an outpatient setting. Services will be provided in individual, family and group settings. The Family partner develops and maintains a data collection system indicating referrals, resources, and barriers to treatment. The Family Partner will assist care givers in accessing social supports, assist with achieving plan of care objectives, lead educational meetings, and provide mentoring. Staff member completes Medicaid Administrative Claiming. Adjunctive services include coordination with other providers/agencies, staffing, and serving as resource for other staff. The Family partner will use professional and technical skills as described in Core Competency Inventory.
Education/licensure:
High School Diploma or GED. Current valid driver's license in state of residence.
Experience/Knowledge:
This position requires you to have a child with a mental illness for whom you have sought services.
Experienced parent of a child or young adult with serious emotional disturbance. Must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:
Ability and strength to sit, bend, and reach during an 8 to 10 hour day. Able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor patient needs and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills sufficient to legibly document or communicate. Routine 8 to 10 hour shifts with weekends off.
Minimum Hiring Hourly Salary: $16.00
