Job scope:

Performs responsible monitoring of the residency and grounds to insure client safety. Documents client's activity in shift report, interacts with clients in a therapeutic, professional fashion, cleaning and maintenance of facility, consistently maintain currency of all required staff training. Knows and enforces client guidelines pertaining to program, as specified in the policies and procedures manual of the unit, Division, and Community Healthcore. 

Education/licensure:

Current valid driver's license in state of residence. Graduation from high school or GED equivalent diploma. 

Experience/Knowledge:

Experienced in performing crisis intervention. Ability to work in a structured treatment setting for adult,  female substance abusing population. Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to residential program and population served. Ability to accept supervision and redirection. Ability to relate effectively with clients,  professional, and co-working staff. Ability to keep appropriate, accurate documentation and records. Ability to channel information.  Ability to consistently maintain a professional presentation of self when dealing with clients, significant others of client's and all staff. 

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: 

Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an 8 - 10 hour workday. Able to lift a minimum 10 lbs. Visual, literacy, and auditory acuity sufficient to monitor client needs and to maintain accurate records. Ability to work 8 - 10 hour day on a scheduled basis. Overtime or exchange of shifts may be required. Must be physically able to complete Satori Alternative to Managing Aggressive Behavior (SAMA), CPR and First Aid. 

MINIMUM HIRING SALARY PER HOUR: $16.00
