Fiscal Records Specialist

Job scope:  

Fiscal Records Specialist  maintains the records for Center inventory and assignments, vehicle leasing and maintenance,  and copy and mailroom functions.  This position is a cross-functional, multi-focus job serving in an assistant role to the Purchasing Manager.  Work involves maintaining records of equipment and furniture purchasing, tagging and assigning same to units and staff members, and entering staff assigned assets into HR software.  Position maintains vehicle leasing software including staff assignments, tracking and notifications for routine maintenance.  Operates mail machine and copy machine.  The Fiscal Records person works under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager. 

Education/licensure: 

High School/GED   Must have substantial computerized accounting and excel spreadsheet experience.  A thorough knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles is required.  Current valid driver's license in state of residence.

Experience/Knowledge:  

Good computer skills.  Work with multiple software.  Excel knowledge and experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets.  Detail-oriented.  Able to work independently.  Must maintain effective relations with co-workers, supervisors, program staff.

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:  Reaching, lifting, walking,  talking, hearing, repetitive motions.

Minimum Hiring Hourly Salary: $16.00
