Psychologist | Longview

Job scope: Is a proactive key member of the Child and Adolescent Program.  Provides assessments and psychological treatment with children, adolescents and their parents.  Conducts diagnostic evaluations through the use of intellectual and neuropsychological testing.  Measures and interprets test results.  Conducts screenings and evidence-based diagnostic outpatient evaluations of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.  Conducts diagnostic evaluation of children and adolescents. Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills, ability to work with diverse clients, and committed to a holistic care model.  Provides some counseling/therapy, conducts some training on clinical topics for center staff and/or community.

Education/licensure:  Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Licensed Psychologist in Texas, Current valid driver's license in state of residence. 

 Experience/Knowledge:
Requires a strong understanding of mental illness, assessment processes and how to access professional/community resources. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:

Mobile and able to bend and reach during 8-12 hour day. Must be able to adequately complete SAMA, First Aid and CPR training. Work endurance sufficient to work an 8-12 hour day.

Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $100,000
